this one is completely empty.. not dark, empty. theres no grain inside it at all, and everything else in this frame is nothing but grain

and this one has something in it. theres a shape low down that reads almost like a sheet or a curtain.. under the filter you can see it has its own texture, nothing like the wall

theres a seam running the full height here. its not a join in the wall, the grain carries straight across it.. its more like two scans stitched down the middle

by the end theres almost nothing left. it doesnt fade, the exposure just closes.. and the grain closes with it, which a real camera would never do

another one of the slow wall pieces.. i keep getting them lately. this one barely moves for six seconds and then just shuts

i find these genuinely difficult. theres no event in it anywhere. and i still watched it four times

its all about the grain.. and its not film grain, its far too even.. its closer to what you get when something was quantised too hard and then scaled back up

YES thats it.. i kept thinking photocopier and couldnt get closer than that. its exactly that
