really interesting.. the way this epic face-off is framed almost as some kind of pop art motif is so strange.. and the whole thing is really all over the place stylistically, i love it

yes! it took me a while to realize that.. it's basically as if they're in front of a screen... as if they're in a play or on a movie set.. the whole image is like that.. look at where the light is originating from..

i love the pattern filling this frame... it sort of reminds me of early digital graphic design patterns (70s-80s) or a print you would find on vintage stationery or something like that..

well its essentially emulating both ordered and noise dither patterns but it's combining them in a really interesting way..
