this is three unrelated objects in one file and not one of them shares a scale with the others.. a wheel or a shield, a hand on its own, and a tiny person standing next to them with his arms out. is this how it arrived or did somebody assemble it
oh this is lovely tho.. the little guy makes the whole thing read as a monument
the wheel has real geometry, you can see the bevel catch the light all the way round. the hand is barely holding together, the fingers are just tubes. they werent made by the same pass, or at least not at the same density
which i think is the interesting part.. its not a model of anything, its a container. whatever made it had no reason to think a wheel and a person needed to share a scale, because it was never going to stand in the scene and look at them
i'm not sure this qualifies as drift honestly.. its an untidy export. half of what we post is untidy exports
maybe, but the untidiness is the only part i find interesting. a person would have deleted the little guy before exporting, or at least stood him on something. this one kept him exactly where he fell
the wheel is the only part thats actually resolved.. the spokes are clean, the rim has a proper bevel on it, theres a hub. whoever scanned this cared about this object and nothing else in the file
took me a second to see this is a hand.. the fingers are all splayed out flat and theyre far too long. its facing palm down and nothing is attached to it
and then theres this guy.. just standing, arms straight out, about the height of one of the wheels knobs. not placed anywhere in particular, just left in the scene..
